In this project we had to take the best silhouette picture we can take. I took this thinking of how I can incorporate what I love doing into my project and show how I took this picture. This picture was taken during the evening in one of my volleyball beach practices. The sun was setting and that's mostly the best time to take a Silhouette. I believe that this was one of my best pictures and with the black and white edit it makes it more dramatic and shows the shape and you can notice pretty clearly what it is.
The picture on the left is showing a flower in dusk while the sun was going down. It shows the shape and definition of what maybe the flower would look like but cant see the full color for it. The next picture on the right is a picture of a surfer in the afternoon. You can tell the shape of the board and how shes standing in the sun. You can capture shape and more color than the first picture. These two pictures are similar with silhouettes but have different lightings to show two different ways to take silhouette photography.
This picture is representing the hardship that they were put through starting off at a young age. This photographer is trying to express the catastrophe through the detail and the kids expressions while doing hard labor. The detail of the dirtiness and the wood being put on their backs shows what type of life is for those kids. Having to work and I'm guessing walking really far to do one job shows what type of environment this is. With all of her picture's she shows a lot of emotion to capture the hard times in life.
